Thankfully, after what feels like an age, Leoni will be re-opening on Tuesday 14th July
I can’t promise business as usual. We have had to adapt but, with a common sense approach, I am sure we can operate what will be still recognisable as Leoni’s. We have made no redundancies and everybody at Leoni is very much looking forward to meeting our customers again.
Most notable changes are;
Customers are asked to wait outside the front door. Staff will then seat customers when a suitable table becomes available.
Takeaway customers are asked to move directly to a space near the coffee machine and can exit via side passage.
As normal, we will operate table service, however, where possible, we will take payment at the table.
Our aim is to implement the government’s guidelines in an appropriate way that will ensure the safety of customers and staff whilst still maintaining the atmosphere and character of the coffee house.
Please note that the building design and layout is such that doorways and staircases can not accommodate customers passing at the same time and we ask customers to wait until there is sufficient space to socially distance in the communal areas of the building.
Seating has been arranged so that a minimum of one metre can be maintained between seated customers, we ask customers not to rearrange seating or tables in a way that would jeopardise the social distancing measures.
Hand sanitiser facility is provided for customers to use on entering and exiting the premises and for customers using the toilet facilities. Additional cleaning, sterilising of all surfaces and all precautions necessary will be implemented by staff to minimise risk to customers.
If you intend visiting Leoni then please read the following;
The safe operation of the business based on these assumptions:
Customers who have symptoms of Covid 19 or are aware they have been in contact with someone who has the virus will not visit the premises;
Vulnerable or at risk customers do not enter the premises until further government assurances are made;
Customers are aware of obligations to socially distance and will help us by taking precautions to minimise risk to themselves and others;
Contact details of customers are given to staff. These will be kept secure and will not be viewed by any third party but retained for 21 days for the government's Track and Trace only before being destroyed.
Further details are available on the premises.
We look forward to seeing you all very soon.
